Containment Laboratories - Cambridge
Warehouse - Marden, Kent
decadesign recently completed the design of mechanical services for a laboratory refurbishment project in Cambridge.
The facility consisted of a suite of laboratories for the purposes of carrying out Parasitology research utilising CL2 and derogated CL3 areas.
Services provided included building heat gain & loss calculations, comfort cooling design and plant selection, domestic water services sizing and ventilation system design including ductwork sizing, AHU and chiller plant selection and specification.
The project culminated in the production of a complete tender design package including a full set of tender drawings and associated particular and general specifications.

decadesign provided mechanical design assistance for the fit out of services to a warehouse located in Kent.
The warehouse provided goods in and out facilities together with associated production, storage and office areas.
Services provided included building heat loss calculations, ductwork sizing, gas pipework sizing domestic water services sizing and production of associated scope of works for the aforementioned services.

decadesign carried out the Hevacomp design calculation for a large residential property in central London. The building model was created from existing Architectural drawings in order to ascertain heat losses and gains which were subsequently used to size the heating and cooling plant and services design.
Specific wall and roof construction details together with glazing details were gathered and utilised in the programme to refine the loads and ensure accuracy.

Residential Property - London
Hockey & Cricket Club - Kent
decadesign recently completed the design of mechanical services for a Cricket Club Pavilion in Marden Kent.
The project initially started as a value engineering exercise with a report being produced providing the client with a summary of potential cost savings accrued though design reconfiguration.
Ultimately a full design including a scope of works and full drawing package was produced for the design and build contractor.
Services designed included heating, ventilation, comfort cooling, domestic water and above ground drainage systems.
